the best kind of "having to pee" sound: l'altra 'in the afternoon' this music makes me sad, like rainy days and stormy clouds looming on the horizon. yesterday was like today except that it was sunday, and i had a job interview, and i lost all hope not because the interview went badly, but because i am just one person out of how many? and they are not going to make a decision right away, even though they should, to make my life easier. i would rather be the last person seen, blow them away and make them forget about all the other candidates. but this is just for a job, right? i should be at home sewing, not at the internet cafe stalking the crispin glover look-alike boy with blue eyes who works here. oh, and also i am looking for more jobs to apply for. as soon as i finish with this. heh. goddamn he's cute. ok, so i baked cookies, and they are good, but there are so many of them (my fault, double batch) that i am eating them for breakfast and that cannot be good. the upside of this is that i know that my new oven works. yes. i want to make sugar cookies next, but i think i need a break. or some advice from martha s. about how to package and mail these delicious confections to family and friends to i don't eat them myself. forever. this must have been how they created cookie crisp. someone made too many cookies and decided to get rid of them in the form of cereal. delicious cookie cereal. it's too bad they make him tuck in that shirt. and wear khaki pants. valentines day was less than interesting, although in the end i went out to big chicks with andy and noah and john and there was lots of dancing and some compliments from cute boys and more dancing - a le tigre remix, "ride the white horse", daft punk, the smiths (?!), outkast, etc. it was difficult at times not to dance. i liked that. i had no one to impress and no reason to guard myself. so i brought back a little of my bellydancing classes and mixed that with ye olde rave days and it was fun. perchance i shall do it again. with mr. glover over there. nekkid. heh. |
